EM4's range of near infra-red fiber coupled diode lasers are designed for the harsh environments associated with defense, industrial and telecommunication applications. We have an excellent track record of supporting RF links, fiber telecoms, fiber lasers, fiber optic sensing and free space communications.

The product range includes high power DFB lasers at 1064 nm (seeder and MOPA applicable), 1310 nm and 1550 nm (RF analog links), with high power DBR devices also available at 1064 nm.

Standard build configurations include an optical isolator, back facet monitor diode, thermo-electric cooler and a thermistor.

Our manufacturing infrastructure provides full serial number traceability and we screen 100% of product, temperature cycling and hermeticity testing every module.
