Mr. Garabet has a long history of leading successful companies in the optical communications market. Prior to founding EM4, Inc., Mr. Garabet was the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Altitun, an advanced manufacturer of tunable lasers for DWDM telecommunication applications. While a member of Altitun's senior management team, Mr. Garabet was responsible for all global commercialization activities and played a leading roll in the eventual sale of the company to ADC Telecommunications. Prior to joining Altitun, Mr. Garabet was the Chief Operating Officer of Melles Griot's Photonics Division, an international manufacturer and distributor of lasers and photonics components serving the telecommunications, semiconductor and medical markets. Mr. Garabet also has experience at Pirelli Cable Corporation where he led the North American Optical Communication Systems Sales and Marketing Group specializing in WDM and optical amplifier based systems. In addition, Mr. Garabet held senior sales management positions at Lasertron and Micracor, manufacturers of IR laser and detector components.

Mr. Garabet holds a Masters of Science degree in Lasers and Applications from Essex University in Essex, United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physics from Portsmouth Polytechnic in Portsmouth, United Kingdom.

Dr. Rosiewicz has over 20 years of experience in the design, manufacturing and application of active optical components used in the telecommunications industry. Prior to becoming a founding member of EM4, Inc., Dr. Rosiewicz provided product and business strategy, engineering process, and package engineering consulting services to a number of electro-optic laser companies such as Coherent, Melles Griot, Harmonic Lightwave, MOEC and Pirelli. Dr. Rosiewicz was also the President and Chief Executive Officer of Q-Peak, a commercial laser manufacturing company. Additionally, Dr. Rosiewicz was the Director of Marketing and Product Development at Micracor and the Director of Engineering at Lasertron where he focused on the commercialization of CATV transmitters, analog fiber optic links, high speed digital links, EDFA pump sources, high-speed receivers and tunable lasers. Dr. Rosiewicz has further laser and detector device, package and reliability experience from his tenure at Standard Telecommunications Laboratories, currently a part of Nortel.

Dr. Rosiewicz holds a Doctorate in Physics and Bachelor of Science in Physics from Glasgow University in Scotland. Dr. Rosiewicz is a member of the OSA, SPIE, and the IEEE.

A founding member of EM4, Inc., Mr. Renlund has a broad range of fiber optic transmission and communications system engineering development experience. Mr. Renlund was the Manager of Control Engineering at ADC - Altitun where he was involved in product development from the initial specification stage to product launch. Mr. Renlund was also the Product Manager for ADC - Altitun's ANYWAVE® Tunable Laser product line. Along with product package development, Mr. Renlund also managed the electronic design, circuit layout, and embedded software development. Prior to working at ADC-Altitun, Mr. Renlund developed integrated laser modules such as tunable lasers, DFB lasers, and high powered MOPA lasers at the Industrial Microelectronics Center in Kista, Sweden.

Mr. Renlund holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Uppsala Technical University in Sweden.
